Greek Halloumi Wrap

Report
The Greek Halloumi Wrap features grilled halloumi cheese with grilled zucchini, artichokes, salad greens, and coleslaw wrapped in large flour tortillas. A squeeze of lemon juice brings brightness to the savory and slightly salty halloumi, while the fresh vegetables and coleslaw add texture and freshness for a satisfying handheld meal.

Description

This wrap uses thickly sliced halloumi cheese cooked in a dry pan until golden and slightly crispy on the outside but soft inside. The grilled zucchini complements the cheese's saltiness with smoky, tender slices. Jarred artichokes add earthy flavor, and fresh salad greens provide crispness. A spoonful of coleslaw delivers a subtle creaminess and crunch. Finally, lemon juice brightens the overall profile.

All ingredients are assembled in large flour tortillas for an easy-to-eat wrap. This combination balances salty, fresh, and savory components with varied textures. Adding extras like fresh basil, olives, hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, or tzatziki is recommended to customize flavor and moisture. Rinsing and drying halloumi before cooking can reduce saltiness.

The wrap is suitable for a quick lunch or light dinner with Mediterranean-inspired ingredients. Using quality wraps helps avoid breakage while folding.
