Greek Seasoning

This all-purpose spice mix is the perfect blend of herbs, spices and fresh lemon zest!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary crushed
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional, see note

Instructions
- If using lemon, zest lemon and add along with other spices to a small bowl.
- Mix well to combine. Use immediately to season meat and vegetables.
- If storing, place spice mixture on a plate and allow it to sit open at room temperature for 48 hours or until lemon zest is completely dried. Place in a small jar and store at room temperature for up to 3 months.
Notes
- Lemon zest should be completely dried before storing or the mixture will spoil.
- Dried lemon zest can replace fresh with no need to dry the mixture.
