Hawaiian Pizza

The ultimate Hawaiian Pizza - this delicious pizza is stacked with ham, bacon, pineapple, and tons of cheese. This one is for the sweet and salty lovers!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 slices thick cut bacon
  • 3 oz cubed or sliced cooked ham
  • 1 pound pizza dough*
  • 1/3 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3-4 oz fresh pineapple cubed (canned can be substituted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450ºF. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat for 30 minutes.
  2. Slice the bacon into small pieces and add to a hot skillet. Cook until crispy, then remove to a paper towel lined plate with a slotted spoon. Remove all but about 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease from the pan.
  3. To the hot pan, add the ham. Cook, turning as needed, until browned and heated through.
  4. Roll or stretch the dough into a large circle, about 12-inches in diameter. Spread the pizza sauce over dough.
  5. Add the cheese to the top of the pizza, followed by the cooked bacon and ham. Sprinkle on the pineapple.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
  7. Let the pizza cool fro a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • *I like a thinner crust, so I use about 3/4 pound of pizza dough.
  • I also like to use parchment paper when making pizza. To see all of my pizza tips and tricks, check out my pizza dough post.
  • If using canned pineapple, you will want to drain it well and pat the pineapple dry since it tends to be quite wet.
