Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread

This Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread blends whole wheat flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and ripe banana for a moist loaf with balanced sweetness from coconut sugar. The inclusion of cinnamon, walnuts, and optional chocolate chunks add layers of flavor and texture. It maintains a tender crumb baked for one hour, suitable for breakfast or a snack.

Description

Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread uses whole wheat flour combined with unsweetened cocoa powder and rising agents such as baking soda and baking powder for structure. Cinnamon adds warmth while coconut sugar and coconut oil provide a subtle sweetness and moistness. Eggs, milk, vanilla, and mashed ripe bananas bind the batter and contribute natural sweetness and moisture.

Optional walnuts provide crunch and semi-sweet chocolate chunks lend richness and bursts of flavor throughout the loaf. Baking at 350 degrees for around one hour creates a well-cooked interior with a slightly firm top crust. Cooling the loaf before slicing helps maintain texture and ease of serving.

This banana bread is a satisfying option for those craving a chocolatey baked good with some whole grain and fruit-based nutrition.
