If you and your family enjoy the cheeseburgers at McDonald’s, this homemade copycat recipe is just what you need! It’s better than the cheeseburgers at the golden arches!

Ingredients
- ¼ pound ground beef
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 onion finely sliced, small
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- yellow mustard American style
- 8 lices American cheese
- 4 burger buns soft
- 2 pickles sliced
Instructions
- Add onion, vinegar, and a pinch of salt to a small bowl. Stir and set aside.
- In another bowl, add the ground beef and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix together until combined.
- Cut two large pieces of waxed paper to form the patties. Place the meat mixture on one piece and cover with the other piece. Use a rolling pin to roll the mixture to a thickness of ⅛-inch. Remove the top layer of waxed paper and use a large glass or a circular cookie cutter to make 8 patties.
- Heat a frying pan until it’s smoking hot. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for a couple more minutes or until done. Top each patty with a slice of cheese.
- Transfer the patties onto the buns. Add the pickles and your favorite toppings.
- Serve with sides and enjoy!
