Homemade Turtle Candy

Making your own homemade turtle candy is a great pastime that is perfect year-round. Caramel, chocolate, with a little crunch! Nothings better.

Ingredients
- 2 cups pecans
- 1 ½ cups caramels soft candy, unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups milk chocolate see note
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
Instructions
- Spread the pecans out on a lined sheet tray.
- Melt the caramels and cream in the microwave in 30 second increments until it's almost completely melted. Stir until totally melted.
- Drop tablespoons onto the pecans, spacing them out slightly.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals until it's almost completely melted. Stir until totally melted.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the top of the caramel dollops.
- Sprinkle the tops with sea salt. Let set in the fridge until set.
- Repeat until all the pecans are gone.

- You will need to use soft caramels for this recipe.
- You can use any kind of chocolate you prefer.
