Honey-Soy Beef & Broccoli

Honey-Soy Beef & Broccoli stir-fries tender sirloin strips and fresh broccoli florets with onions and garlic, then coats them in a honey-sweetened soy sauce glaze. The beef is quickly cooked in a hot wok, combined with slightly crisp broccoli and onion, and finished with a glossy sauce enhanced by white wine and cornstarch for smooth consistency. This dish is ideal served over rice.

Description

Honey-Soy Beef & Broccoli features thinly sliced sirloin beef cooked in a hot wok with onions and garlic. Fresh broccoli florets are added and cooked briefly to retain slight crunchiness. The beef and vegetables are finished with a sauce made from honey, soy sauce, white wine, and cornstarch, which thickens to a smooth glaze coating the ingredients.

The sauce balances savory soy with natural sweetness from honey and mild acidity from white wine. The quick stir-fry method preserves the beef’s tenderness and broccoli’s texture, delivering a flavorful and balanced dish.

This beef and broccoli stir-fry is metrically served over cooked rice, making a complete meal. Optional red pepper flakes add a hint of heat for those who prefer.
