Ingredients
- 1 12-inch store-bought pizza crust
- 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Homemade Hot Honey Sauce:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1-2 teaspoons hot sauce to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the store-bought pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, and hot sauce until well combined.
- Drizzle the homemade hot honey sauce over the pepperoni and cheese.
- Bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let the pizza cool a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of hot honey to your desired level of spiciness. For a milder pizza, use less hot honey.
- If you prefer more kick you can add red pepper flakes with the honey and hot sauce mixture.
