Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tso salt
- black pepper
- 100 g butter
- 150 ml hot sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6.
- Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are cooked through and crispy.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the hot sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve the hot wings immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dip, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the level of spiciness according to your preference.
- Make sure to flip the wings halfway through baking to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy on all sides.
