This simple recipe is my favorite method for cooking coarse bulgur wheat. Chewy and nutty, the cooked bulgur is delicious in salads, grain bowls, and more!

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup dry coarse bulgur

Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a small or medium pot over high heat.
- Stir in the bulgur, cover, turn off the heat, and set aside for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender. Drain excess water. Fluff with a fork.
