Ingredients
- Hard to firm cheeses parmigiano, pecorino, cheddar
- Semi-soft cheeses havarti, gouda, muenster, swiss, curds
- Soft cheeses Brie, Mascarpone, roulade
- Cured meats capicola, salami, prosciutto, pepperoni
- fruits apples, pears, grapes, kiwi
- nuts almonds, walnuts, pecans
- Condiments honey, mustard, pickles, olives
- Crackers or breads
Instructions
- Add the cheeses to the board. Pre-slice any semi soft cheese. Place a knife on the board for cutting the firm/hard cheeses, and something to spread the soft cheeses.
- Add meats to the board. Fold, spread, and create meat roses as desired.
- Add in fruits and crackers.
- Give the final touches and add any nuts and desired condiments.
Notes
- Meat Rose Instructions:
- Using a small bowl or cup and a thin sliced meat like salami (the smaller the diameter of the cup, the smaller the rosette),
- take a slice of the meat and bend it around the top of that cup in half. Go around the diameter and overlap the slices of meat. Circle around the cup a few times until the center nearly disappears.
- Flip it over and remove the meat and voila! You have a meat rose.
