These Penguin Oreos bring winter cheer with their adorable faces! Kids will love to help decorate these cute and tasty treats!

Ingredients

  • 24 Double Stuff Oreos
  • 20 oz dark chocolate melting wafers (about 2 packages)
  • 24 pieces white melting wafers
  • 12 orange M&M minis cut in half
  • 48 Candy eyes
  • 2 pieces Pull n Peel Twizzlers pulled apart and cut into 2” long pieces
  • Black melting wafers optional for drawing bow ties and buttons

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  2. Use a double boiler to melt the dark chocolate melting wafers, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip each Oreo in the melted chocolate, turning to coat the entire cookie.
  4. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl, then place the chocolate covered Oreos on the baking sheet.

To Decorate

  1. Place one white melting wafer on the bottom half of each Oreo, pressing gently into the still wet chocolate. Place one orange M& M for the nose and 2 candy eyes.
  2. To make the earmuffs, place two round peppermint candies on each side of the oreo. Use one of the 2-inch pieces of twizzler to make the strap for the earmuffs.
  3. Allow the chocolate to dry completely, or place the tray in the fridge to speed up the setting process.
  4. You can also use a black edible marker or melted black candy melts to draw on a bow tie or other finishing touches.
