Cook up a batch of rice quickly and easily with your Instant Pot. With minimal prep and a cook time of only 3 minutes, this is a speedy way of serving up a simple side to accompany your favorite meals.

Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 cup water
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Rinse rice and drain well.
- Add rinsed rice, salt and water to the Instant Pot. Lock the lid and turn the valve to ‘sealing’. Pressure cook rice on High Pressure for 3 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
- Release remaining pressure, and carefully, open the lid. Fluff rice with a fork.
Notes
- Rinse your rice well under cold running water before adding to the Instant Pot. This will help to remove the starch so that your rice doesn't get clumpy.
- If making ahead of time, let the rice cool completely before storing and only reheat it once.
- The ration of water to rice is 1:1 and the recipe is easily doubled.
