Ingredients
- 2 bags jasmine tea
- 1 cup hot water
- ⅓ cup tapioca pearls
- ¼ cup brown sugar syrup
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- In a heat-proof glass, steep the jasmine tea in hot water for 2 to 3 minutes. You can steep it longer if you’d like a stronger tea flavor.
- Meanwhile, prepare the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions (usually placing them in hot water for a few minutes) and then add the tapioca pearls and brown sugar syrup (or brown sugar and water) in a small saucepan and simmer it for 3 to 5 minutes. This will infuse the brown sugar flavor into the tapioca pearls.
- In a cup, add half the brown sugar syrup and tapioca.
- Add ice and half jasmine tea to the tapioca.
- Add the half milk to the tea.
- Stir to combine and repeat for a second drink. Enjoy immediately.
