Jasmine Milk Tea

Jasmine milk tea blends fragrant jasmine green tea leaves steeped in hot water with milk and honey, optionally infused with dried jasmine flowers for extra floral notes. Served chilled with crushed ice and optional tapioca pearls, this drink offers a creamy, sweet tea experience that balances the delicate jasmine aroma and milk's richness.

Description

The recipe begins by steeping loose jasmine green tea leaves in hot water cooled to around 180°F, ensuring a delicate extraction over 2-3 minutes to prevent bitterness. Honey is dissolved into the brewed tea, which is then combined with milk and sometimes extra dried jasmine flowers to intensify the aroma. The mixture is chilled overnight in the refrigerator to develop flavors and cool thoroughly.

Before serving, jasmine flowers are strained out, and jasmine extract can be added for enhanced fragrance. The drink can be served over crushed ice with optional tapioca pearls, adding texture typical of bubble tea varieties. The final beverage offers a sweet, creamy tea with subtle floral undertones, perfect for a refreshing treat.
