Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 3 cups prepared cornbread dressing or cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 egg
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° farienheight and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add the sausage, stuffing, egg, and cheese to the bowl of a stand mixer. Use the paddle attachment to beat the ingredients together until combined.
- Use a small cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop the meat mixture. Roll it into a ball between your hands and place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cooked through.

- There are two ways to make this recipe; from leftover Jiffy Cornbread Dressing or from scratch with boxed cornbread dressing mix. If I am freezing the sausage balls, I like to flash freeze them on a baking sheet until they are hard or for about an hour or so. And, then move them to a freezer bag. This prevents them from sticking together.
