Ingredients
Goulash:
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 medium red bell pepper
- 4 ounce celeriac
- 4 ounce butter
- 2 teaspoon fresh garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 10 ounce crushed tomatoes
- ¾ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 32 ounce beef chunk roast cut into 1/2 pieces
- salt and pepper to taste
Butter-Fried Cabbage:
- 32 ounce green cabbage shredded
- 4 tablespoon butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Measure out and prepare all of the ingredients. Chop the onion and red bell pepper.
- Add all of the ingredients for the goulash to a crock pot.
- Add in the seasonings. Cook for 8 hours on low.
- In a frying pan, add the butter and green cabbage until cabbage is tender and golden brown in color. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the cooked goulash with the green cabbage. Enjoy!
