Ingredients

  • ¼ cup kokutō
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Put kokuto and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring it to boil, then turn the heat down to simmer for about 15-20 minutes stirring with a spatula .
  3. Remove scum as needed.
  4. Turn the heat off when it thickens and while it is still a little runny, as it will harden more when it cools down.
  5. Pour it into a sterilised jar to keep.
