Lemon ginger tea

Lemon ginger tea - Soothing infusion of fresh ginger and lemon lightly sweetened with honey.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon ginger or 1 inch ginger sliced for a mild flavor, grated
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 2 teaspoons honey add to preferred sweetness

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, add water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add grated ginger and bring it to a rolling boil. Turn the heat off.
  3. Stir in lemon juice.
  4. Strain into cups, add honey and enjoy hot.
