Mango Mojito Recipe

The Mango Mojito recipe features fresh mint leaves muddled with sugar, salt, and lime in cocktail glasses, then combined with mango puree, lime juice, chilled water or club soda, optional rum, and ice cubes. This fruity take on a classic mojito offers a refreshing, tropical drink with minty brightness and a sweet mango flavor, ideal for warm days or gatherings.

Description

This Mango Mojito recipe begins by gently bruising fresh mint leaves with sugar, salt, and a slice of lime to release their aroma and flavor. Lime juice is added next, followed by ice cubes to chill the drink adequately. Mango puree lends a tropical sweetness and vibrant color, balanced by the acidity of lime. The addition of rum is optional, allowing for a non-alcoholic version when omitted. Diluting with chilled water or club soda lightens the drink and adds effervescence.

The combination results in a refreshing cocktail with citrusy, minty notes complemented by mango's sweetness. The drink can be garnished with mint leaves or lime slices for visual appeal. It's well-suited as a bright, cooling beverage during summer or casual social occasions.
