Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely diced yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk; let stand for 5 minutes until breadcrumbs absorb the milk.
  3. Add ground turkey, egg, Parmesan, parsley, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Mix until just combined, avoiding overworking the meat.
  4. Form the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve with your choice of sauce and enjoy!
