  • 1 whole wheat pizza dough or ready made pizza base, homemade, ball of
  • 6 tablespoon salsa (heaped)
  • 6 cherry tomato sliced
  • 60 g cheddar cheese mature
  • 8 teaspoon sour cream reduced fat
  • 8 teaspoon guacamole
  • 3 spring onion thinly sliced, aka scallion
  • 30 g cilantro finely chopped, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C(fan)/400°F/Gas 6.
  2. Roll 1 Ball of homemade wholewheat pizza dough out to roughly 25cm (10 inch) diameter.
  3. Add 6 tablespoon Salsa to the dough and spread it out. Add 6 Cherry tomatoes and top with 60 g Mature cheddar.
  4. Put the pizza in the preheated oven and cook for around 12-15 minutes.
  5. Top the cooked pizza with 8 teaspoon Reduced fat sour cream, 8 teaspoon Guacamole, 3 Spring onion (Scallion) and 30 g Fresh coriander (cilantro).

Notes

  • Replace salsa with smoky BBQ sauce to reduce spiciness if desired.
  • Use a tortilla base to keep the pizza lower in calories.
  • Adding pulled pork or ground taco beef can introduce meat while avoiding heaviness if used sparingly.
