Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2-2 cups M&M Chocolate Candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray or line them with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the baking soda, salt, and flour until a dough forms. Mix in the M&Ms with a spoon.
- Take 2 tablespoons of dough and use your hands to quickly shape it into a ball. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, about 12 per sheet. This recipe should make about 24 cookies total.
- Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until they are just barely browned. Do not overbake.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let the cookies cool on the pan for 3-5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, store the cookies in an airtight container.
