Monster Halloween Popcorn

This spooky Popcorn is one of those easy Halloween treats that require only 5 ingredients and a few minutes to whip up.

  • Monster Popcorn
  • 70 g (10 cups) popped popcorn
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Candy eyes
  • Sweets
  • 340 g (12 oz) bag of candy melts (you can have a mix of colours)

Instructions

  1. Add the popcorn in a large bowl and lay out the sprinkles, candy eyes and sweets.
  2. Melt the candy melts in a large bowl according to the packet instructions.
  3. Pour the melted candy into the popcorn and mix till all coated.
  4. Then stir in the sprinkles, eyes and sweets, decant into serving sized bowls and set aside to harden and serve.

  • Feel free to use only one colour of candy melts if you prefer.
  • Make sure you have everything ready to go before you melt the candy – as this hardens up relatively quickly. If that happens just pop them back into the microwave for 30 secs and stir before any more dipping.

  • Another option for coating the popcorn is melted white chocolate (which can be mixed in with food colouring).
