Move over Mulled Wine, there’s a new hot beverage in town! This Slow Cooker Mulled Beer is perfect for chilly winter days! You can use your favorite winter ale or lager to make this delightful hot cocktail that’s loaded with spices!

Ingredients
- 48 ounces beer preferably a European ale or lager
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 whole cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1 orange sliced
- nutmeg for garnish
Instructions
- Add the beer, sugar, spices, and half of the orange slices to a small crockpot and cook on low for 2.5 hours.
- Ladle into a mug and add a fresh orange slice and a dash of nutmeg and enjoy.
