- 2 quarts apple cider
- ¼ cup dark brown sugar
- 5 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon whole allspice berries
- Peel of 1 orange

Instructions
- Add 2 quarts apple cider, ¼ cup dark brown sugar, 5 whole cinnamon sticks, 4 whole cloves, 1 tablespoon whole allspice berries, and peel of 1 orange to a large pot.
- Bring just barely to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove the spices and orange peel before serving hot.
