No-Bake Fudge Brownie Protein Bites

An easy go-to snack or treat, these no-bake brownie protein bites come together quickly and are the perfect size to quench your sweet tooth with a protein boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond butter
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 Tbsp Protein Powder of choice
  • 4 to 5 Tbsp pure maple syrup to taste
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract optional
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients for the brownie bites to a food processor and process until completely combined. There's no need to separate the dry ingredients from the wet ingredients as everything can be added at the same time. Note that this process will be easier on your food processor if the almond butter is at room temperature. If your almond butter has been chilling in the refrigerator, microwave it for 10-20 second intervals until it softens up.
  2. Taste the mixture for flavor and if desired, add more pure maple syrup and/or chocolate chips.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls and enjoy!
  4. If you'd like, you can roll the protein balls in unsweetened shredded coconut, more cocoa powder, or shaved chocolate.
