One Pot Taco Spaghetti
Description
The One Pot Taco Spaghetti recipe starts by browning ground beef seasoned with a taco seasoning mix. Tomato paste and Ro*Tel diced tomatoes with green chilies introduce a mildly spicy, tomato-forward sauce cooked together with spaghetti and water until the pasta becomes tender and absorbs the flavors. This all-in-one cooking method simplifies preparation and minimizes cleanup.
Once cooked, shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses are added on top and allowed to melt, creating a creamy cheese layer that balances the savory, slightly spicy meat sauce. Garnishes of fresh diced Roma tomato and chopped cilantro add a cooling contrast and fresh flavor dimension to the dish.
This recipe serves as a hearty and convenient weeknight meal, blending the familiar flavors of a taco filling with pasta. It serves well as a standalone dish or with a side of steamed vegetables or a salad.
Ground chicken or pork can be used in place of beef according to taste preferences or dietary needs.
