Ingredients
- 9 cups mini marshmallows divided
- 5 cups Krispie cereal
- 16 Oreo cookies chopped
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoons salt

Instructions
- Prepare a 9-inch square pan (for thicker rice krispie treats) or a 9x13-inch pan (for thinner rice krispie treats) by coating generously with butter; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies, chopped Oreos, and 1 cup of the marshmallows.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the salt and remaining 8 cups of marshmallows. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted.
- Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies mixture and gently stir until combined.
- Spread the Oreo Rice Krispies mixture into the prepared pan and press gently to flatten the top.
- Allow the Oreo Rice Krispie Treats to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes, then slice and serve.
