Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bacon
  • 1 pound fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups Parmesan cheese, grated and divided
  • 1 ½ tablespoons parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the bacon until it's just crispy and chop it into pieces. Drain grease from bacon and chop into bits.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the package directions until it's al dente and drain. place the cooked pasta into the prepared baking dish and toss with the butter.
  4. In a bowl, beat together eggs and cream until just combined. Pour egg mixture over the buttered pasta and toss until pasta is well coated.
  5. Reserving some of the bacon bits for the top of the dish, add bacon, 1 cup of cheese, parsley, and salt and pepper to the pan, and mix everything together.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes to cook eggs completely.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with the remaining ½ cup of cheese, remaining bacon bits, and additional parsley. Serve fresh!
