Peach Burrata Salad

Peach Burrata Salad combines creamy burrata cheese with sweet sliced peaches, crisp bacon, juicy grape tomatoes, and purple onion over fresh mixed greens. The salad is brightened by olive oil, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. The contrast between creamy cheese, sweet fruit, smoky bacon, and crisp vegetables provides a complex layering of textures and flavors, making it a light yet satisfying salad option especially suited to warmer seasons when peaches are available.

Description

Peach Burrata Salad arranges creamy torn burrata cheese on a bed of mixed greens layered with sweet sliced peaches, cooked bacon pieces, juicy grape tomatoes, and thinly sliced purple onion. This combination creates a balance of creamy, sweet, smoky, tangy, and fresh elements. Olive oil and seasonings enhance the flavor of the burrata and other ingredients, while a drizzle of balsamic glaze adds subtle acidity and sweetness.

The salad relies on burrata served near room temperature to showcase its delicate texture and milky flavor. The peaches add a fresh and seasonal sweetness that complements the richness of the cheese and the saltiness of bacon. The grape tomatoes and onion provide additional juiciness and mild sharpness, making the salad complex but fresh.

This salad is suitable as a starter or light meal. It works well paired with warm weather menus or alongside grilled meats. If peaches are unavailable, suitable winter fruit replacements include pears, oranges, apples, kiwi, or pomegranate, with the option to omit fruit if preferred. Burrata cheese is commonly found in the refrigerated cheese section at most grocery stores.
