Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- ½ cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and butter over medium heat. Stir constantly.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, reaching 238°F (soft-ball stage) on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and pecans. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Drop spoonfuls of the praline mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Allow to cool and set before serving or storing.
