Prosciutto Parmesan Cheese Straws are an easy appetizer for dinner parties, family gatherings, and game day. Or, serve them on your next spaghetti night as puff pastry bread sticks!

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 2 tablespoons butter , melted
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese , finely shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 6 thin slices prosciutto , cut in half lengthwise
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Parmesan cheese and fine sea salt.
- Unroll puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Baste butter mixture onto puff pastry.
- Cut puff pastry into 12 strips.
- Twist each strip with a thin slice of prosciutto. Place on baking sheet.
- In another small bowl, whisk together egg and water. Baste onto the tops of each cheese straw.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
