Pulled Pork Tacos
Description
Pulled Pork Tacos combine succulent Kalua pulled pork prepared in a slow cooker with liquid smoke and salt to infuse rich, smoky flavor. The pork cooks until tender enough to shred easily, retaining its juices. The fresh mango avocado salsa adds a refreshing touch with ripe diced mango and avocado mixed with lime juice and cilantro, enhancing the tacos with a sweet and tangy contrast.
The corn tortillas are fried in vegetable oil until they develop a slight crispness that helps them hold the juicy fillings without becoming soggy. Assembled with pork, salsa, and a finishing touch of sour cream, the tacos offer a pleasing variety of flavors and textures. This dish is great for casual meals or entertaining when you want a vibrant, flavorful taco experience.
Choosing ripe, plump mangoes that smell sweet near the stem ensures the salsa is flavorful and free from stringiness. Frying the tortillas just enough for crispness but leaving them pliable helps maintain the structure of the tacos when filled.
