Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dates chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine the butter and sugar in a mixer until creamy.
- Add the apple sauce, pumpkin and vanilla and mix.
- Add the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon and mix until combined.
- Fold in the dates and pecans.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes until center of cookie is firm.
