Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Turn your instant pot onto the sauté setting and add the oil. Once the oil has heated, add the onion and begin to sauté for 3-5 minutes until it’s soft and translucent
- Add the ground beef, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and worcestershire. Break up the ground beef and cook until there is no more pink
- Cancel the sauté setting on the instant pot. Add the milk, beef broth, macaroni, and tomato sauce. Gently press the noodles below the liquid but don’t stir.
- Turn the knob to the sealed position and set the instant pot to pressure cook for 5 minutes
- Once the instant pot is done switch the knob to quick release. Once the pressure is released, open the top and stir in the cheese and serve
Notes
- Storage and Reheating Tips: Keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Reheat in the microwave for 30-second increments until fully heated through.
