Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix plus the ingredients listed on the box
- 2 1/2 cups mixed berries
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup milk warmed

Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix according to the box directions.
- Preheat your waffle iron. When warmed, spray the waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour the batter onto the waffle maker, being careful to not overfill the iron. Cook according to the manufacturers instructions.
- Mix the berries and the sugar together in a bowl. Let the berries sit for 5-10 minutes.
- To make the cream cheese drizzle, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Whisk in the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve the waffles topped with some of the berries and a drizzle of the cream cheese mixture.
