Instructions

Brown Sugar Bacon

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Place the bacon slices and brown sugar in a bowl and toss together until the bacon is well coated.
  4. Lay the bacon strips side-by-side on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes turning the bacon halfway through. Start keeping a close eye on it around 13 minutes to ensure it doesn’t burn.
  6. Remove the cooked bacon from the oven and use tongs to carefully move the pieces to a flat surface lined with parchment paper or a clean baking sheet lined with foil. Lay it side-by-side to cool.
  7. Once cooled chop it into bite-sized pieces.

Sliders

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Place a layer of roast beef over the bottom buns.
  4. Top with a layer of cheddar cheese slices.
  5. Finish with a layer of chopped brown sugar bacon.
  6. Place the top buns on the sliders.
  7. In a small bowl mix together melted butter, dijon mustard, sesame seeds, dried minced onions, and worcestershire sauce.
  8. Brush butter mixture over the tops of the bread.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  10. Serve hot.
