  • 1 pound broccoli fresh
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoons cracked pepper
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and cut the broccoli into small florets.
  2. Add the broccoli florets to a rimmed baking sheet (you may use parchment paper, or spray the sheet lightly with oil to prevent sticking)
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle the garlic powder, salt and pepper and toss gently to distribute oil and seasonings, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  4. Roast for 10-12 minutes. It's done when the florets are still bright green - but a little charred on the edges.
  5. Remove from oven, and devour.

  • This is a great recipe for mixing up. Like spice? add a little cayenne or crushed red pepper. Like fresh flavors? Add a little lemon juice after cooking for a super bright, fresh flavor.
