  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese shredded, sharp
  • 1 tablespoon chives optional, freeze-dried
  • 1/4 cup milk optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, biscuit baking mix and shredded cheese.
  3. Form into 24 golf ball-sized balls and place on baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the sausages are golden brown and cooked through entirely. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness. The sausage balls are done when they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
