Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups Dr. Pepper
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup onion chopped
- ½ cup green bell pepper chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ¼ cup quick-cooking oatmeal
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Brown your ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add the browned beef, Dr. Pepper, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, onion, bell pepper, garlic, and oatmeal to your slow cooker.
- Stir together.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring once or twice.
- Once the sauce has thickened, pile on buns and serve!
