Soup Maker Parsnip Soup Ingredients:
- 4 medium parsnips
- 300 ml vegetable stock
- 100 ml skimmed milk
- 3 medium garlic cloves
- 2 Tsp parsley
- salt & pepper
- 28 g grated cheese optional
Instructions
- Slice and dice your parsnips and give them a quick wash. Load your parsnips, vegetable stock, garlic and seasoning into your soup maker.
- Place the lid on the soup maker and select smooth soup and cook for 28-30 minutes.
- When it beeps remove the lid, stir in milk, any extra seasonings and grated cheese. Load into bowls and enjoy!
Notes
- Cheese. If you want a low calorie parsnip soup, then don’t include the cheese in this recipe. You can also mix and match with different cheeses.
- Time. The Morphy Richards soup maker has a standard 28 minute cook time, whilst the Ninja Foodi Soup Maker has 30 minutes, just go with whatever the setting is on your soup maker.
- Milk. We add the milk last. This is because you can then check how thick the soup is, use the milk and add more milk if needed and also use it to cool down your soup quicker.
