Spaghetti Soup

Report
Spaghetti Soup combines mini meatballs, broken spaghetti noodles, and a savory mix of chicken broth and marinara sauce into a hearty and warming meal. The Italian seasoning with minced garlic and a bay leaf adds depth, while grated Parmesan cheese gives a finishing touch. This soup offers the comfort of traditional pasta and meatballs in a broth-based format, convenient for cooler days or casual dinners.

Description

Spaghetti Soup features small meatballs simmered in a blend of chicken broth and jarred marinara sauce, enhanced with Italian seasoning, garlic, and a bay leaf for added aroma. Broken spaghetti noodles cook directly in the broth, absorbing flavors and yielding tender pasta pieces throughout the soup. A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese atop each serving adds a nutty accent and richness. This soup balances hearty components with a flavorful liquid base, making it satisfying without heaviness.

The soup can be served alone or paired simply with a crusty bread to soak up the broth. It suits a casual lunch or light dinner.

Leftovers keep well refrigerated in an airtight container for up to five days. The recipe also allows swapping chicken broth for beef or vegetable broth if preferred, subtly altering the flavor.
