Spicy Canned Salmon Salad Rice Bowl

The Spicy Canned Salmon Salad Rice Bowl combines flaked canned salmon mixed with mayonnaise, Sriracha, and scallions, served over warm brown rice. Crisp cucumber and a sprinkle of furikake or nori garnish add cool texture and umami notes. The bowl balances creamy, spicy, and fresh elements for a satisfying quick meal or lunch option.

Description

This Spicy Canned Salmon Salad Rice Bowl features canned wild pink or red salmon mixed with light mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and chopped scallion whites seasoned with kosher salt. The mixture is spooned over a bed of heated brown rice, creating a filling base that is mild yet spiced.

Fresh cucumber pieces add a crunchy, cooling contrast to the creamy salmon salad. Garnishes such as furikake or a mixture of nori and sesame seeds contribute an umami dimension. The remaining scallion greens and optional additional Sriracha enhance flavor and color.

Ideal for quick preparation, this bowl can serve as a light lunch or simple dinner. The cooked rice provides sustained energy, while the salmon adds protein with minimal prep. The combination of textures and flavors brings balance to the dish.
