These deliciously addictive Sticky Asian Chicken Wings take wings to a whole new level with a homemade sweet, sticky and spicy glaze!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings cut into drummettes and flats
- ⅓ cup sugar-free Keto honey
- 3 tablespoons liquid aminos
- 2 tablespoons sambal
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 1 garlic clove grated
- juice of ½ lime
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Optional: fresh cilantro and sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Mix the baking powder and salt together, then sprinkle the mixture over the wings, tossing them to coat each piece.
- Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and a wire rack, then bake for 30 minutes.
- While the wings are baking, add the remaining ingredients into a saucepan and whisk to combine. Simmer for 5-8 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Remove the wings from the oven and baste each piece with the sauce. Bake 10 more minutes, then remove and baste with the remaining sauce.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F when checked with a meat thermometer and serve with some chopped cilantro and sesame seeds on top.
Notes
- These are spicy, so if you want them more mild, you can omit the Sriracha and even cut back a little on the Sambal. I recommend mixing up the sauce, taste it, then if you want more heat you can always add it.
- If you don't have rice wine vinegar, you can substitute with white wine vinegar.
