Strawberry Buttercream Frosting

  • 1 cup butter softened to room temperature
  • ¼ cup Strawberry Puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Add butter, vanilla and strawberry puree to a large mixing bowl and mix together using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed, until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add powdered sugar one cup at a time, whipping on medium speed until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Spread frosting on your favorite cupcakes or cake and enjoy!

Notes

  • Dairy-free: To make this strawberry frosting dairy-free, simply substitute regular butter with a vegan butter.
  • Low-sugar: I haven't tried it, but for a lower sugar option, you should be able to replace some of the powdered sugar with a sugar substitute like powdered erythritol or Swerve confectioners' sugar. Adjust the amount to taste.
