Super Easy Olive Oil Pasta

Super Easy Olive Oil Pasta features spaghetti tossed with a fragrant olive oil infusion of minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, brightened by fresh lemon juice and parsley. The gently warmed oil melds flavors without browning the garlic, resulting in a simple yet flavorful dish with a smooth texture and subtle heat. It serves as a light main or a complement to other dishes, relying on fresh ingredients and straightforward technique.

Description

Super Easy Olive Oil Pasta begins by cooking spaghetti until al dente. Meanwhile, extra virgin olive oil is gently heated with minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes just briefly to release aroma without burning. Once the pasta is drained, it is mixed with the warm olive oil and garlic mixture, then further combined with additional olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and minced parsley.

The resulting dish highlights the clean, fruity notes of good olive oil paired with a touch of heat from the pepper flakes and aromatic brightness from the lemon and parsley. The pasta’s texture remains firm yet tender, while the oil coating provides a silky mouthfeel that clings to each strand.

This preparation is suitable for a light meal or side dish that benefits from fresh, simple flavors and minimal ingredient complexity.
