Teriyaki Chicken Meal Prep Bowls

Teriyaki chicken meal prep bowls are perfect for a busy week because they are filling, full of flavor, and healthy. This is an easy make-ahead meal that is something the whole family will love. For lunches or quick dinners, you won't regret having these in the fridge!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups Rice, cooked
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 2 cups snap peas, steamed
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice ahead of time or use prepackaged cooked rice for convenience.
  2. Cut the chicken into bitesized pieces. Cook the chicken over medium high-heat for 5-7 minutes. The chicken should be cooked through and no longer pink.
  3. Steam the vegetables until tender.
  4. To assemble the bowls, evenly divide all of the cooked ingredients into four sealable containers.
  5. Each container will contain 1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup cooked chicken, 1/2 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup snap peas, and 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce.
  6. Seal the containers and store in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Warm in the microwave and drizzle the teriyaki over the chicken. Enjoy!
