Get the best and easiest homemade Sloppy Joe Recipe. Not only does this take less than 20 minutes to make, but it's the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Serve over hamburger buns, baked potatoes or toast!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef 93/7
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/4 cups ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 8 hamburger buns

Instructions
- Heat large, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Break meat apart as it browns.
- Once the meat is completely browned, stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Add in the ketchup, water, Worcestershire, ground mustard, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir together and simmer 5-10 minutes or until water has mostly evaporated and sauce is thick.
- Spoon meat mixture onto toasted hamburger buns and serve.
