Vegan "Honey" Mustard
Report
This Vegan "Honey" Mustard Dressing adds instant flavor to any dish. It's SO easy, too! Just stir the ingredients in a bowl. It's a fat-free salad dressing you can make in 2 minutes and so flavorful that a little bit goes a long way. We love it as a spread for sandwiches and veggie wraps!Yield: makes about ⅓ cup.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup good quality yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar I prefer the flavor of maple syrup.
- ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder, optional
Instructions
- Stir the ingredients together in a bowl until smooth and well combined.
- Taste and adjust flavor if desired.
Notes
- Variations
- If the zestiness of the mustard is too strong for you, it's easy to mellow out the flavor with a couple of tablespoons of vegan mayo. Use this homemade aquafaba mayo for an oil-free option.
- Add a pinch or two of cayenne pepper if you like a kick.
- Vegan honey mustard also tastes amazing with chopped fresh herbs added. Try a combination of basil, parsley, chives or mint.
- Store leftover dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Can also be frozen.
